Pattern Tool

The Pattern tool can be used to scale and position a pattern fill inside of a shape’s bounds.

Choose the Move tool and double click on an object with a pattern fill to activate the Pattern Tool. The Pattern Tool will display as the selected tool in the Tool Options bar.

The pattern can be scaled using the Pattern Scale slider or positioned within the shape’s bounds by dragging.

To reset the pattern’s size and position to the defaults, click Reset in the Tool Options bar.
