Creating Brush Strokes

Choose the Brush tool to create calligraphic brush strokes which appear as if they were drawn using a calligraphic pen or paintbrush.

Activate the Use Pressure feature to easily create pressure sensitive brushes.

The Brush tool has a smoothing setting which can be used to control the amount of smoothing applied to newly drawn brush strokes. Adjust the brush width and the amount of smoothing using the Tool Options bar settings.

Tip: Use the B keyboard shortcut to quickly select the Brush tool.
