Lines

Choose the Line tool to draw line segments. Tap and drag to create a line segment.

Besides creating plain lines, it can also be used to create arrowed lines and dimension lines. The settings in the Tool pane can be used to change the Line tool from the default Plain Line mode, to the Arrowed Line or Dimension Line modes.

Tap and drag to begin drawing the line, and then tap and hold with a second finger to easily create horizontal, vertical or 45° lines.

Line segments can be easily turned into arrowed line segments or dimension line segments using the Stroke pane and the Label pane from the Appearance panel.
